Brief History

The company started its operations in 1989 as American Healthcare, Inc. in 1994, the company, renamed as Lifelink Medical Supplies, Inc. was given the exclusive distributorship of Baxter Healthcare Corporation.

In 1996, Allegiance Healthcare Corporation took over Baxter's operations and likewise appointed Lifelink as its executive distributor in the Philippines.

In February 1999, Allegiance Healthcare was sold to Cardinal Health, who was also made Lifelink its exclusive distributor in the country. It is also at this time that the company was renamed Lifelink, Inc. and subsequently moved to its present location at Cityland Shaw Tower, Mandaluyong.

In Sepmtember 2008, Cardianl Health announced plans to spin-off its clinical and medical prodcuts businesses as a separate, publicly traded company. In July 2009, the new company went to market as Carefusion Corporation, who also appointed Lifelink as its exclusive distributor.

In January 2011, Edward Lifesciences (Thailand) Ltd. made Lifelink its exclusive Philippine distributor.

In December 2011, Lifelink was made the distributor of Devicor's Mammotome and Neoprobe lines.

In July 2012m Lifelink became Medline's country represntative in the Philippine market.


Marketing

Lifelink's marketing network covers the National Capital Region, Central Luzon, and Southern Luzon.

Key areas in North Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao are serviced through a network of dealers.
